How she describes herself:
Assalam wa alaikum,
Ok these things are always hard to fill in!
I'm a revert to Islam of 9 yrs, Alhamdulilah.
I am honest, straight forward, I like the simple things in life. But I do like to be spoilt too, when I say spoilt I mean like a cooked dinner or a bunch of flowers, (help with the household chores from time to time),maybe a new frock, that sort of thing!
I am on a Tareeqah that focuses on self purification, I'm inclined towards the sufi path.
I wont compromise with my Islam.
I dont watch TV. I dont listen to popular music.
I listen to Nasheeds Qu'ran and read alot.
I came from the western culture and there is nothing there, Honestly it only leads to hellfire.
I homeschool my daughter as I feel it is the best way to bring her up to be of benefit to the Ummah Insh'Allah.I dont work.
I would love more children Insh'Allah.
I would really like to stay where I am, to be close to my family and sisters and so My daughter keeps the good close relationship she has with her father.
I dont drive but would love to learn.
In saying that If i met the right Brother I may be persuaded to move, but not far!!!!!
I would expect to be the only wife,I dont think could handle being a second wife or even a first wife with more after me!
I believe that to make a marriage work there are certian things you need, compromise, team work, honesty, same outlook on life and deen,Consistency, and of course at least a smidge of attraction.
Truthfully all i want is an islamic marriage.to love and be loved, marriage after all is half the Deen, Insh'Allah I can achieve jannah by making my Husband happy.
I love cooking..I truly believe that a Man's role is hunter gatherer and a womans Is nurturer and keeper of the castle, and thats how I would like my marriage to be.......and to be honest I wont settle for less .

How she describes her family:
Ok in my household there is myself and my daughter,
as a revert my family members are not muslim..well my sister embraced Alhamdulilah but shes not practising atm.
my family is not "traditional" my parents separated when i was seven and I have never seen much of my father since...my mother is a strong woman Alhamdulilah she brought us up and she provided for us.
I have already explained what i would like out of marriage, how I see things and what I believe so there is no point repeating it here ....lol

How she describes the kind of person she's looking for:
I am looking for a Brother who Is practising and following the sunnah of our Holy Prophet SAW.
He needs to know his stuff about Islam to help me to learn.
He has to be Honest, supportive, kind, gentle, generous,Caring and thoughtful with a GSOH.
He will look after himself.yanno maybe not designer gear and stuff just be smart and clean. maybe workout a bit.
I would prefer a brother wearing sunnah dress but smart modest clothing is good too
He must love children and want some of his own
He would have a good job as and be able to support his family, I would want to continue home schooling our children. and he will be able to drive.
He would be trying to emulate the Holy Prophet SAW as much as he could, trying to attain his characteristics. Day by day.
He would Love Allah swt more than anything in this world and love Our Prophet Muhammad more than anyone he knows. At least striving to reach this state.
He would have the same outlook on life and the deen as me not be into the wordly and removing himself each day from it, Insh'Allah.
As our Holy Prophet Muhammad was in this world but not of this world.
He wont be unreligious, decietful, lazy, frugal, uninteresting, selfish, unkempt.
I would like a brother with a beard but thats not everything to me...a beard DOES NOT make a pious man, the same as Niquab doesn't make a pious woman!
